COVID-19 HOW WE ARE KEEPING YOU SAFE

 

We are excited to be re-opening and we look forward to welcoming guests back to Esk Caravan Park and the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Motel. Everyone needs a well-deserved ESKcape and we are here to ensure that your next visit ia as safe and enjoyable as possible.

 

With COVID-19 restrictions still in place, we have made some changes to the way we operate our park for the safety of guests, staff, residents and the local community.

 

  • Everyone will need to sign a COVID-19 declaration prior to entering the park or motel.
  • Additional cleaning practices have been implemented.
  • Contactless check-in is available.
  • Social distancing rules are in place.
  • Hand Sanitizer stations have been strategically placed around the park.
  • We are actively encouraging everyone to practice good personal hygiene and physical distancing.
  • If you are feeling unwell, we kindly request you stay home and visit your doctor for COVID-19 testing. Your deposit/payment can be transferred to your guest account for future use.
  • Our staff have completed COVID safe online training.

FAQ's

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE IN THE CAMP KITCHEN?

 

A maximum of 20 people, practicing social distancing, are currently permitted in the large camp kitchen. This will increase to 35 when Stage 3 restrictions come into effect on the 10th of July 2020. (Subject to further Government changes)

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE IN THE CHILL N'GRILL?

 

A maximum of 8 people, practicing social distancing, are currently permitted in the Chill n'Grill. (Small camp kitchen)

 

ARE PARK FACILITIES OPEN?

 

Park facilities will open as per State Government guidelines, including all communal facilities, Camp Kitchens, BBQ's, and Amenities. Guests are asked to adhere to social distancing and maximum number requirements when using Park Facilities and at all times throughout their stay.

 

CAN I STILL BRING MY PET TO THE PARK?

 

Well behaved pets are always welcome. For pet conditions of entry, please see our pet-friendly policy.

 

WILL THERE BE RESTRICTIONS ON THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE TRAVELING IN A GROUP?

 

There are currently no restrictions on the number of sites/accommodations we are permitted to accept in the park, as each site meets the requirement of 1 person per 4 square meters. There are however restrictions on group gatherings. We are accepting groups with the requirement they adhere to current Queensland Health directives regarding the maximum numbers for gatherings and social distancing throughout their stay.

 

CAN I HAVE GATHERINGS IN THE PARK WITH OTHER GUESTS?

 

Guests may gather in the park, however, they must adhere to the current Queensland Health directives regarding the maximum numbers for gatherings and social distancing. Group gathering numbers are changing monthly at this stage.

 

WILL VISITORS TO CURRENT GUESTS BE ALLOWED IN THE PARK?

 

Depending on numbers and how busy the park is, visitors may be permitted, however they must sign-in and complete a COVID-19 Guest Declaration prior to entry.
